Mikheyev would be a great addition to Ottawa. He plays in all situations and could be used heavily in a PK situation for them. That's an awfully heavy price for the Canucks to pay for VT though.

Ottawa is not interested in Mikheyev.

yeah but should Mikheyev be had for free?

He's a very solid 2-way forward who has paced for 46 pts per 82 games the last 3 seasons combined. He's a bit like a more skilled Mathieu Joseph
